That depends – if you plan to use our mini skip hire or even our midi skip hire and plan to storage the skip on private property, or your driveway, then you generally won’t need a permit from your local council.

However, if you get a larger skip and need to keep it on public land or the road then you will need a permit.

If you do require a permit, don’t worry as this is something we will take care of for you, meaning no extra work or worry for you .

At Skips Liverpool we have a variety of skip sizes available for every need, including mini skips, midi skips and builder’s skips – a solution for every job type.

For small house cleaning and decluttering, our 2 ton skip hire is ideal. This is known as a mini skip.

For jobs slightly larger, like full house clearances, we offer our 4 ton skip, also known as a midi skip.

Finally, for larger jobs involving builder’s waste and large clearance requirements, we have our 8 ton skips. These are usually referred to as maxi or builder’s skips.
