Hazardous items, such as asbestos, chemicals/paint/solvents, gas bottles, tyres, batteries, medical waste, or electrical items (WEEE), can’t be placed in domestic skips.
While it’s not prohibited, we highly suggest donating clothing items to charities rather than placing them in a skip. Doing so will help those in need and give the items a second life rather than recycling them.
