With the UK's net zero by 2050 goals, it's more important than ever to improve how waste is handled: finding eco-friendly ways to cut waste, ease the strain on landfill and get materials reused and recycled.
That's what we're working towards at Skips Liverpool. We started out as a small, local project with a clear aim: to make local skip hire quick, reliable and affordable for homes, trades and building sites across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area. So that's what we did.

With a friendly, efficient team, we can provide a skip for every project, big or small, from 2 yard to 8 yard skips.
We supply the most popular sizes: mini (2 yard), midi (4 yard) and builders' (8 yard), with same-day and next-day delivery options, perfect for last-minute jobs. Our drivers run daily routes across the city and into the wider Merseyside area, including parts of Knowsley, St Helens, the Wirral and Southport.
Homeowner, business owner or tradesperson, we'll find the right skip for you and deliver it to your door. With a quick and easy booking process, hiring a skip in Liverpool has never been easier.
Where your rubbish goes
Every load we collect is handled in line with the duty of care set out in Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Basically, that means waste only goes to authorised sites, with the right paperwork, and is kept secure on the way.
We take our skips to licensed facilities where materials are sorted for reuse and recycling, so your rubbish isn't just dumped.
When a skip goes on a road or verge, it's signed, lit and guarded properly to keep pedestrians and road users safe.
Some things need specialist disposal
Some items can't go in a general mixed-waste skip for legal and safety reasons. Ask us before you book if you're not sure.
Stuff we can't take
Typical exclusions are asbestos, gas cylinders, liquid paints and solvents, oils, batteries, clinical waste and most electrical items (WEEE), including fridges, freezers and TVs. Tyres can't go in either.
